Aconitum columbianum - Monkshood

Description: Monkshood is a beautiful, dark purple flower found in the higher elevations around water. The flowers form on tall stalks. Leaves are elongated and are in sections of three to five, located under the blossom. Aconitum columbianum is harmful if eaten. By harmful I mean, violent spastic vomiting death.
